ok, so i got a date for homecoming and this is gonna sound stupid (but you can spare me your crap) , but i have no idea how to dance slow or fast...what do you do????? any help is also welcome thanks alot!!!How do you dance with a girl??? i need all advice!!!?
When in doubt, look around and figure out who you think is a good dancer, and imitate them.





As a guy, you don't have to be a really great dancer - just be willing to keep her company on the dance floor.


For fast dances, just relax and move your body to the beat - let the movement start in your hips. Practice in front of the mirror so you have an idea of what you look like.


For slow dancing, put your hands on her waist or hips, and slowly sway back and forth to the beat. Keep turning a little bit each time so that you eventually go in a circle together, but don't go so fast that you're spinning around - this ain't the teacup ride.


If you want to get a little fancy, ask your parents to teach you how to do a basic waltz box-step. You'll hold her right hand in your left in the air up near your shoulder, and keep your right hand on her waist. Keeping with the beat, you step to your left, then forward one step, then right one step, then back one step, ending up at your starting point. Keep the steps small and smooth. Once you get comfortable with this, you can mix it up by twirling her now and then, or dipping her at the end of the song. Girls love that.How do you dance with a girl??? i need all advice!!!?
you need to find a friend who can teach you in person...sorry but dancing is something you learn by doing...





What I can say is to relax and have fun...you won't be any good at it if you are stiff and up tight.

Watch Soul Train or some other show where people are dancing and TRY to pick it up. If you have rhythm, it will not be that hard to do.

Depends on the song bro. If it's a slow song then generally don't try to do anything flashy. Just go with the flow of the music. Footwork isn't going to be a big issue. Just place your hands in a safe zone and hold her close. Now if it's a fast song then it's completely different. Don't practice retarded dance moves from movies and videos. They don't mean anything. If anything, just do whatever feels right at the moment. Everyone is there to have a good time.
Awww, thats cute you admitted it. But suck it up and ask a girl thats a friend to show you. Or even your mom. Just suck it up and ask. You'll thank them later. Promise its worth it.
