it's very common. None of my children ever threw up their milk. Wait, she will tell you when she needs it again. just make sure you burp her good, let her sit for 2-3 min before you burp her after her bottle.1st time mom needs advice on my 3 month old girl?
What type of nipple are you using? If you use a fast flow nipple, it makes the baby eat too fast. From newborn to at least 6 months, you should buy slow flow nipples.

Your baby might also be sensitive to the type of formula you are giving. Are you boiling the water/or using jugged water for formula mixing? If not, this might also be the reason it's happening.

Your baby could also have acid reflux. I would wait for an hour before giving her anymore formula just to be safe, and when you feed her again try feeding her an ounce at a time, then burping and wait a min or two then continue this way until she finished the bottle. Burping is essential to keeping food down her. Hope this helps and God bless!
This has happened to me so many times, I rang the health nurse and she said to wait until bub fusses again for another feed. Let the baby determine when she is hungry again.

You could also try a slower teat with her next feed so it goes into her belly slower.

You did nothing wrong sweety its so easy to place blame on ourselves isnt it lol.

Dont give her water just wait til she is hungry again. Even tho you feel like she threw up the whole bottle you would be surprised I used to think like that aswell, but a doctor gave that advice.

Good Luck
How often do you burp her during a feeding. Try burping every oz. Also I bet she only threw up a tablespoon or 2, it just looks like a lot. Try pouring a tablespoon or 2 of water an a shirt %26amp; you'll see what I mean. Does she still seem hungry? Do not give her water! Baby's don't need water, they can actually get water poisoning. If she's still hungry just try giving her 2 oz of formula. Hope that helps
NO water, period...did u burp her during the feeding? try burping her more often...spit up is usually less than it looks like, but if you feel it really is most of her meal, you could offer a little more....if the spit up continues to be excessive and burping isn't helping, or baby starts to appear to be in pain while eating or spitting up, becomes fussy with it, anything like that, you need to consult your doc....
that has happen to me before, sometimes if they drink it too quick it just hits their tummy and comes right back up, try winding her after every ounce to slow her feeding down
my daughter randomly throws up a bottle every so often. if its a once off then big wow lol completely normal. if she keeps doing it she may be ill or something and then check with doctor x
im a mum of 4 and mine have did that many times,,, sometimes a burp comes out wrong and they throw up,, wait 20 minutes then feed again,, make sure u burp a few times during the feed, they throw up less then, xxxxxxxxxx
it happens. feed her again when she wants it, it shouldn't be a worry unless she throws up every feeding so much that you know she's not holding any down.
