Advice for a college girl.?

I've only had one boyfriend, and our relationship lasted 3 years, so i'm not really sure how to read guys with the whole dating process since i don't have much dating experience. i've been hanging out with this guy for a few months, and he finally asked to take me out to dinner (we're going in a few hours). All his friends tell me that he likes me, but he keeps telling everyone that he doesn't want a girlfriend. If he doesn't want a girlfriend, then why is he taking me out to dinner?Advice for a college girl.?
Just because he doesn't want a girlfriend doesn't mean he doesn't like girls. Boys like girls. Obviously, haha...Once you're in college, having a boyfriend/girlfriend is alot more serious than a high school relationship. He might want to date you, but not make the commitment of being your boyfriend yet. From what you've said it seems as though he really does like you and wants to get to know you more. If you guys continue to hang out and enjoy each other's company, and he starts to like you on a deeper level, this may be what changes his mind about wanting a girlfriend. He likes you, but doesn't want to jump into a commitment yet. :)Advice for a college girl.?
i'm 22 outta school for about 3 months now so i'll tell ya its 1 of 2 things.





Either he's lying about not wanting a gf


or


he would like to lay some groundwork and increase his chances of hooking up with you. He DOESN'T want 1 gf, he'd like to have you as 1 of a few options to call on a friday/saturday night.





If you want to find out i guess go to dinner and note how often he asks you about your plans for the weekend, if you drink, party, etc. That might tip you off on where his heads at.
