I need some sound advice about this girl... PLEASE HELP?

Im a junior and im pretty popular (star on the football team) and im been talking with this really cute freshman girl for about a month now mainly through texts and im finding it hard to have a real conversation with her. also i had asked her to go to this party with me last friday and she was going to but her parents wouldnt let her go because of grades or something of that sort. now i think she is interested in me but would asking her to go to a movie or something this upcomiing weekend be too forward because i just asked her out the week prior. also wat should i do because it is getting difficult whenever i am talking to her ( which is rare because i dont see her often) to keep the conversation going? would just going to the movies be a sufficient date? what should i talk about so the conversation doenst get stale because i have talked to her for a while and i already know stuff about her? she is also very shy which makes it hard to talk. help please quick!!!!!!! thanks in advanceI need some sound advice about this girl... NO U SHOULD GO AHEAD AND ASK HER OUT..ASK HER WAT MOOVIES SHE LIKES..where she goes for fun..wat subject she having trouble with..since u said she gettin bad grades...maybe u can help her..the more u interact and spend time with her..the comfortable u will get with her..and u will get to know more about her..so ur conversation won't get stale..good luck..I need some sound advice about this girl... if she doesn't even care enough about her grades then you shouldn't waste your time with her

well talk to her about something that puts her at ease like if she does sports or anything. make sure you ask her questions that require some explaining. maybe you will see difference,
