I need some advice about a girl that i like?

i met this girl about a year ago and we really got along great and ever since then we've become closer and closer as friends





i like her, and i know she likes me because about 2 months ago we ended up getting drunk together and admitted that we liked eachother, and ended up cuddling on her couch watching movies





anyways, after that there was a death in my family and i kind of distanced myself from everyone for a while, including her





now i found out that shes dating this other guy


they started dating about a week ago


the one time that we all hung out together at her house, i caught her looking at me a few times, and anytime we'd have eye contact she'd get this kind of guilty sad look in her eyes and look to the ground or look away





id like to be more then friends with her, but i dont wanna get in the way of her current relationship cause the guy seems nice, and shes happy





i feel like this is all just bad timing and i missed my chance


any advice for me? what should i do?I need some advice about a girl that i like?

respect the girl enough to not try to date her or approach in any inappropriate manner. yeah, you like her, but like you said, she has a boyfriend right now. if u really like her, then you want what makes her happy, whether it hurts you or not. so don't be jealous and upset at the fact that she may have moved on. be happy for her and show it. respect her, her boyfriend, and her relationship. this should show her you have a great deal of maturity in dealing with the situation. your friendship should work out fine. just be there for her when you konw she needs it and never take advantage of her when she's vulnerable.
